Our Story
We met at Binghamton University in 1998. Corey came to Bingo for a party with one of our Sorors (Maija is a Delta Corey is a Que) Dena. After meeting they became friends and would speak and hang out on occasion. In 2004 they started dating and have been together ever since.... WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED December 9, 2007 HOW IT HAPPENED Corey is a hot mess....He proposed on Sunday after church, after I came back from taking my mother shopping for groceries. He kept rushing me home saying we needed to do laundry. I found that funny since he doesn't do the laundry in our house I do, but since he is helpful I thought maybe he wanted to do it that day. Yeah I can put my feet up. WRONG!! He asked me to go and separate the clothes. As I pouted up the stairs and started taking the clothes out of the laundry I noticed he had a lot of junk in one of his pants pockets. I took the junk out and along with the junk came a little black box. I was nervous so I yelled down the stairs for him to come upstairs. He did, got on one knee and proposed.....the rest is history....
